Addie is 5 months old now!!

She just turned 5 months old on Thursday!! YAY!! She has been learning so much lately. She started sitting on her own for a minute or so yesturday (Friday Aug. 22, 2008), it was so exciting and she sat on her own for close to 2 minutes today!! Good job baby Addie. She has been chattering away alot lately, and grabbing her toys alot more too. She alsohas been putting her binky in own her own too. Today we had to go meet a potential sitter : ( I'm so sad that I will no longer be able to stay at home with her. But I am incredibly grateful for being able to spend the first 5 months of my baby's life with her. She is such an amazing girl. So hopefully she won't do any of her first's with the sitter and she'll wait for mommy. Well thats all I got for today.

Baby Addie's 4 month appt.

Yesterday, Friday August 1, was her 4 month well visit check. She weighed a whopping 13 lbs, 14 oz. and was 24 3/8 in long!! She grew a lot in 2 months. Dr. Cook said everything looked well and gave us the green light to start fruits and veggies. This was a relief since Addie absolutely hated cereal. What do you know I gave her Baby Applesauce and she loves it!!! Its so cute watching her eat it, she opens her mouth right up and eats all of it instead of spitting it out!! And as soon as shes done with a bite she opens right up for another. Too cute. She's really starting to like her toys too, she grabs on to all of them and if they make noise she gets them to do it. My baby girl is getting so big, I am so proud of her.

4 Months Old Already.....

I so should've started a blog before Addie was born, but of course things were busy and with a newborn they only got busier. I have been truly blessed with the most amazing little girl ever. She is my world and I couldn't imagine my life without her. This week has been awesome. On Moday 7-21-08 she turned four months!! I can't believe how fast she is growing! Monday was her first official time trying cereal, lets just say she hates it. She makes the most disgusted looking face when I kept trying to get her to eat it. I think she is ready for it because she opens for the spoon and has been watching us eat for awhile now. On tuesday I tried once again and also tried giving her a couple bites of sweet potatoes (she also made a yucky look for them too, can't blame the girl I don't like them either, lol.) So I think I will wait a couple days and resume trying again this weekend. Today we went to the Zoo with her Uncle Derek, we had a great time. Addie just loves the aquarium!! After the fun at the zoo we went to the mall where we got some amazing deals on baby clothes. I can't wait for her to wear the little dress I got her on Saturday for her 4 month pictures. I also got her a plush Wall-E from Disney Store. She loves him. Daddy was playing with her with it and she would just laugh at him! Too cute. After the mall trip we went to Addie's great grandma and grandpas house where she rolled over (both ways) for the first time. Talk about being so excited and so proud!! I was so proud that she mastered it finally. Way to go baby girl!! Daddy was a little sad he missed out on this but she did it for him when he came home : )

That is all I have for tonight....I want to eventually post my birth story and other exciting milestones that have happened in the past 4 months.
